Marketing Coordinator: (Full time)

Position builds awareness of the organization’s role in the community. Responsible for maintaining effective public, media and community relations acting as the shelter’s spokesperson for all media interviews and coordinates and/or assists with all major shelter events with the CA Board members, volunteers and marketing/fundraising committees. High degree of professionalism is expected.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Communications or Marketing, minimum of 3-5 years experience in public relations and marketing. Proficient in Published and In-Design. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to communicate effectively with staff, volunteers and CAS Board members. Must be available for non-routine hours and attend community events as assigned.

Front Desk Staff: (Part time, possible weekends)

Do you love working with animals and people?! Cheyenne Animal Shelter is looking for part time Customer Service personnel. This position requires an individual that is comfortable interacting with patrons, handling animals and multi-tasking. Employee will assist with new pet adoptions, owner reclaims and pet surrenders. Cross training for Animal Care duties will be required. We are looking for someone that is professional, easy to talk to upbeat!

Requirements: High School graduate or GED equivalent, previous customer service experience (1 year preferred), and animal handling experience.

Animal Care Staff: (Part time, possible weekends)

Have you spend extensive time caring for animals? Maybe you have limited animal handling experience but they hold a special place in your heart? Cheyenne Animal Shelter is looking for a hard working and focused employee. Duties will include care, feeding and cleaning of shelter animals and their habitats. Staff will also lead adoption counsels. Cross training with front desk staff will be required.

Requirements: 6 months experience in animal handling, adherence to all safety rules/procedures and excellent customer service skills are a must.

*Schedules are either 7:00 am-12:00 noon, or 1:00pm – 6:00pm, 4 days per week.
