Cheyenne Animal Supervisor awarded scholarship to attend Humane Society of the United States 2013 Animal Care Conference.

Animal Care Supervisor, Dannielle Fasen was awarded a scholarship to attend this year’s HSUS Annual Animal Care Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The scholarship was nominated for a staff member of the Cheyenne Animal Shelter after gaining a professional relationship with a regional representative for the ASPCA.

Dannielle Fasen was chosen to go on a full scholarship including room and board, meals, attendance of conference classes, and travel to the event in Nashville. Fasen is hoping to gain knowledge that is not already available to her in Cheyenne so she may work with others at the shelter to make the Cheyenne Animal Shelter even better than what they already are.

The staff at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter are eager to know what Fasen is going to learn at this conference and what kind of great knowledge she will bring back to the rest of the staff at the shelter. The Cheyenne Animal Shelter thrives in many areas of animal sheltering qualities, but there is always room for improvement in every area.

The conference will take place May 8 through the 11 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Gaylord Opryland Resort.
