Iam’s Home 4 the Holidays

Saturday December 8, 2012 the Cheyenne Animal Shelter hosted the Iam’s Home 4 the Holidays Kick-off Event. Home 4 the Holidays is a national adoption drive hosted by the Helen Woodward Adoption Center with over 4,000 participating shelters and rescues. Last year the Iam’s Home 4 the Holidays Adoption Drive was successful in rehoming over 1.25 million animals. Currently the adoption count from October 1, 2012 to mid December there are over 600,000 adoptions for the the 2012 campaign. On Saturday December 8, 2012 the Cheyenne Animal Shelter celebrated adoptions with photos with Santa, hot cocoa and cookies for all guests and a special Iam’s Home 4 the Holidays adoption certificate to put everyone in the holiday spirit. The Holiday season is one of the busiest times of the year for animals to find their new homes, our goal is to make sure no pets spend the holidays in a shelter, but in a home filled with love from their new families.

The Cheyenne Animal Shelter met their adoption goals of 250 cats and 250 dogs by December 13, 2012.

Every adoption during the Home 4 the Holidays adoption drive is eligible to register their pets for the Iam’s Lifelong Rewards Program. Each adopted pet that is registered receives a new pet welcome kit in the mail, new pet tips, and life long P&G offers.
