Do you have a child that loves animals? If so, Critter Camp is sure to bring a smile to their face!
The Cheyenne Animal Shelter welcomes students ages 5-10 to sign up for general camp dates and students ages 11-14 to register for the special hands-on date for older students (June 26-30). Registration for one child is Cost is $175 per session. If a family is registering more than one child, the cost is $150 per child. Registration includes a t-shirt and camp supplies. Campers will need to bring their own lunches and water bottles –microwave and refrigerator space is available. Camp starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. daily. Please be aware of different routes to get to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter due to the train schedule being unpredictable.
All camp dates this year will have an emphasis on animal care, work done at the Shelter, and being a good pet owner. Campers will interact with Shelter staff, adoptable pets, and even get to take part in some fun animal-centric presentations!
Camp dates are as follows:
Week 1: June 19-23, 2023
Week 2: June 26-30, 2023 (Campers ages 11-14 only)
Week 3: July 10-14, 2023
Week 4: August 7-11, 2023
